Has developed a technology called TiSurf®. It is a ceramic/metal hybrid surface material that makes titanium parts 10 times harder and more wear resistant, with the added qualities of extremely low friction and exceptional corrosion resistance. TiSurf is a hardening of the surface, not a coating.
