What I look for when investing
I often start from the problem. What problem is the company solving today and tomorrow? What is the thesis for that, and which milestones need to be achieved to take the company to the next value-creating level? The people in and behind the company are more than half the equation – it is people who ultimately determine success.
Previous experience
I have a background as an entrepreneur and have worked within both a family office and industrial companies such as LKAB, Volvo Cars and Stora Enso. I also have experience from digital environments such as Google Maps.
Specific projects and investments
Between 2008 and 2011, I ran my own company within data communication for retail – installing access systems, surveillance and alarms. This experience gave me a practical understanding of technology, customer needs and entrepreneurship in the early stages.
