Areas of focus
My absolute focus is to find innovative companies with global growth potential that also, when they succeed, create positive side effects for the planet, society and individuals.
What I look for when investing
Beyond the obvious of a product and a market, I look for entrepreneurs with the right attitude and drive, who see obstacles as part of the road forward.
Previous experience
I have spent most of my career in smaller companies with high growth ambitions. My experience spans several industries, but the challenges in the early stages are often the same – and that is where I thrive the most.
Board assignments and education
I currently hold four board positions in the portfolio companies I am responsible for, but historically I have been engaged in the boards of most of the 17 portfolio companies I have worked with.
In addition to my roles in portfolio companies, I am a board member of the partner-owned design agency Cliff Design. I am also a board member and Fund Manager in the local investment company Almi Invest Fond SI, which invests in Västra Götaland with a focus on more mature growth companies.
Specific projects and investments
Not every investment goes as planned in the start-up world, but I am proud of all the entrepreneurs I have worked with – those who every day, through both highs and lows, roll up their sleeves and refuse to give up. None mentioned, none forgotten!
