Almi Invest invests 2.3 million SEK in Klash AB. The investment is part of a total financing of 8 million SEK and is made, among others, together with Peter Settman through his investment company Simplexity Partners.
Among the other investors are the brothers Linus and Viktor Blomberg, founders of Avalanche Studios, and Marcus Jacobs, who invests through his investment company Infundo AB. The capital will be used for sales, marketing, and further development of the platform with a particular focus on the gaming segment.
Klash Studio is a cloud-based platform that makes collaboration easier in film, TV, and video game projects in the post-production phase. The customers are production companies, media companies, and game companies that use the platform to collaborate and make joint decisions on how to edit, cut, add sound and light, and more to the moving images.
As the film, TV, and gaming industries grow, the need to collaborate digitally in a secure and fast environment increases. In addition to the necessity of keeping production costs down, there are high demands for security to protect all intellectual property.
The company's cloud service, Klash Studio, addresses these factors. It is a collaboration platform with high security where all involved parties can view and interact with film productions from anywhere in the world.
The result is that those responsible for the production can shorten the feedback loop, help the production move faster and more efficiently, while more team members can be geographically dispersed. This leads to significant savings on travel expenses and time saved when high-resolution film files do not need to be physically transported.
