Areas of focus

I focus on investments in technology companies with strong innovation and clear market potential. By combining strategic advice, thorough due diligence and fundraising, I support companies from early stage through to scaling and exit.

What I look for when investing

As an investor at Almi Invest, I look for capital-efficient entrepreneurs solving real problems – preferably in sectors where technical risk can be reduced quickly. This creates the right conditions for efficient scaling once the product, company and ownership structure are in place.

Previous experience

I have worn the entrepreneur’s hat throughout my career – I started my first company at the age of 21 and have since founded several software companies, including Swiftcourt AB. For several years, I was a partner in a Gothenburg-based investment company and for nearly a decade I have worked as an investor and strategic advisor to B2B tech companies – in roles such as chairman, board member and advisory board member.

Specific projects and investments

I co-founded Swiftcourt, a digital platform that simplifies and secures transactions between private individuals. That experience gave me valuable insights into how to build tech companies from the ground up – with a focus on growth, product–market fit and business model.

It’s a fantastic time to invest in software! For the first time in history, the entire stack is being reinvented. We are seeing new companies emerging along the whole chain: at chip level, operating systems, platforms/cloud, applications and the user layer. There is no single player – company or investor – that dominates across all levels of the stack.
