I focus on innovation in health and healthcare – particularly in medtech, biotech, decision support (AI/ML), diagnostics and digital health services. Sustainability, social impact and competence building are central to everything I do.

What I look for when investing

I look for unique and validated solutions with a clear market pathway. Protection, scalability, a strong team and the right maturity for venture capital are crucial.

Previous experience

I have worked with innovation for over 30 years – as a researcher, business developer, leader and co-founder of several biotech companies, both in Sweden and internationally. As incubator director at Karolinska Institutet Innovations, I supported hundreds of research ideas on their way to commercialisation.

Board assignments and education

I serve on several boards related to our investments. I am an organic chemist by training, with a PhD from Stockholm, further education in medicine and pharma, and an MBA from Copenhagen.

Specific projects and investments

I have been part of the teams behind Bioimage, Combio and Biolipox, and have invested in or coached companies such as Anacardio, Optolexia (Lexplore), Medituner, Epigenica, Stratipath and Gesyntha.
