Resitu Medical is developing a patented instrument for medical biopsies, which can quickly remove pieces of tissue in case of suspected breast cancer, with only local anesthesia and with minimal risk of bleeding. Since the entire tumor is removed already in the biopsy stage, no further surgery is needed.
