CUBO

About the company
At CUBO Biotechnologies, we’re addressing one of the most urgent challenges of our time: the exponential growth of digital data. Today, storing that data is costly, energy-hungry, and contributing to global warming. We believe there’s a better way.
Our breakthrough is producing cheap DNA, nature’s ultimate storage medium. DNA has been storing information for billions of years. By harnessing this super material, we’re unlocking sustainable, ultra-dense, and long-term data archival at a scale the world needs today.
This isn’t incremental change. This is a step-function forward in how we preserves our knowledge, culture, and history, not just for decades, but for centuries and beyond.

Vision and impact
At CUBO Biotechnologies, our vision is to make DNA the standard for sustainable, long-term data storage. Nature has perfected this technology over 4 billion years, we’re simply harnessing it.
By replacing energy-hungry data centers with DNA-based storage, we cut costs, reduce carbon emissions, and preserve humanity’s data for centuries. This directly supports SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, Infrastructure) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
We’re not reinventing the wheel. We’re scaling nature’s best invention to solve one of humanity’s fastest-growing problems.
Risk Management:
i) Time to market for storage application. Mitigation: potential to diversify the product into MedTech as spinof of the company. In addition we are examining partnerships for some of the bottle necks of the process.
ii) Time to validate technology in the real world. Mitigation: Examining collaborations with data centers and national archives.
