Verified Caller

About the company

The problem: You cannot know for sure who is calling you. You have to choose between missing important calls, or wasting time or even getting scammed.

Europe lost 103.6 BUSD to fraudsters in 2024 (FinTech Global, March 21, 2025). It becomes increasingly harder to see through fraud attempts due to spoofing and new AI technology.

The solution: Verified Caller’s phone-app shows the verified identity of the caller. The caller has verified their identity via one of many supported eID, for example Swedish BankID.

Patent: Our solutions is patented in Sweden, and we have ongoing patent applications in EU and other interesting markets.

Competitors: There is no similar technical solutions. The closest competitor is Truecaller, which uses phone number databases, but phone numbers can be faked, so their solution is not trustworthy.

Financial forecast

The worldwide market potential is astronomical (see Vision & Impact below). We will therefore short term (3 years) focus on taking the market and establish our technology as the main solution to the problem worldwide, rather than generating a lot of revenue.

Investments by founders: 0.74 MSEK

Investments by friends and family: 1.28 MSEK.

Vision and impact

Initial target market: There are 450 million citizens in EU making 3.6 billion phone calls per day.

Market potential: We believe it will become standard to require a caller to be verified, and that a verification fee of 0.01 EUR is reasonable. That gives us a total market in EU of 13 BEUR per year.

We strive to become the dominant player in this market.

Risk management

Identified technology risk: Competitors copy our technology. How we manage this risk: Patent applications in all relevant regions of the world.

Identified market risk: We fail to become a standard app for almost everyone. How we manage this risk: Marketing to get a substantial userbase fast, and function in app to invite all contacts, and thus get exponential growth.
