About the company

MinglMe is a Swedish dating platform reinventing how singles meet — through real-life, curated activities like cooking classes, hikes, and wine tastings. Everyone is single, in a similar life stage, and there to connect offline. Rooted in emotional intelligence and real-world chemistry, MinglMe replaces swiping with shared experiences, making dating more human, social, and meaningful.

Vision and impact

MinglMe’s long-term goal is to become the leading dating platform for emotionally intelligent, experience-based dating in Europe and the US. We reduce digital fatigue and loneliness by fostering genuine human connection in real life. Our model supports mental well-being, gender inclusion, and social cohesion — aligned with UN SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities & Communities).

Risk management

•  Risks: Operational Complexity: Managing both the user side and host side (inventory, quality control, onboarding) creates coordination risk. Especially when expanding fast, it requires robust tools and scalable workflows. Management: Self-serve tools and SOPs for hosts, plus hands-on support and scalable workflows.

•  Local Critical Mass Risk: Even in major cities, traction must be hyperlocal — by time, age group, and location — to ensure events run and spark meaningful interactions. Without this density, participation drops and experiences fall flat. Management: Hyperlocal FOMO campaigns, recurring event formats, and dynamic CTAs to build momentum in each city

•  Gender Imbalance: Early adoption often skews toward women. If events feel unbalanced, trust and conversion suffer — especially among underrepresented genders. Management: Gender-balanced ticketing logic, waitlists, and targeted outreach to attract underrepresented groups
